The ABGP provides the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" as a public service.

Your use of the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" is subject to a License and Terms of Use Agreement. You may review this agreement by clicking above on the "Entire Agreement". Please read this entire agreement carefully. If you accept this agreement, then click on the "Accept" button below. If you do not accept this agreement, then click on the "Do Not Accept" button below. By clicking on the "Accept" button below you are agreeing to this agreement which is legally binding between the ABGP and you.

You may use the ABGP "Search Physician's Status": (a) for your personal use to obtain information about a physician or physicians from whom you intend to obtain medical services; (b) if you are a person involved in credentialing, to expedite immediate access to information about a physician you are evaluating, provided that you have been authorized by such physician to obtain such information; or (c) if you are a physician, for you or your staff to see the information about you or a colleague to whom you intend to refer a patient, or for any other purpose of a professional nature. Any other use of the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" is strictly prohibited and may be a violation of state and/or federal law. The ABGP will seek the enforcement of any and all of its rights.

It is your responsibility to determine if the information you obtain about a physician through your use of the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" is the information about the physician for whom you are searching. For example, you may inadvertently obtain information about a physician, who has a name similar to the name of the physician for whom you are searching, but who is not such physician. In such case, the information you obtain would not be applicable to the physician for whom you are searching.

The ABGP makes an effort to update the records of physician designees in the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" at least once every six months. Due to the possibility of clerical errors and the fact that changes in any physician's status with the American Board of General Practice may have changed since the last update, the completeness and accuracy of any physician's status cannot be guaranteed. We will not be liable to you or any other person or entity for any action taken or any decision made by you or or any other person or entity in reliance on any information you or any other person or entity obtains from the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" service.

You agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the ABGP and any related persons, organizations or entities from and/or against any and all liability of any type arising out of your use of the ABGP "Search Physician's Status" service.
